2020 was a different and weird year for everybody, it was a good year for some and a terrible year for others. For me, it was different... completely different. I switched careers, I worked out at home for like 3 months (like most of you all did), and I dismissed the old year and rang the New Year in a different Country.
I went to Cartagena, a city I immediately fall in love with for many reasons: its food, its beaches, its weather and its people...and also, because it reminded me of Venezuela so much.
There are many things to do, but here is my very own and humble top 7 list of things you MUST do when in Cartagena:
Do the 5 islands tour (do it the second day of your arrival). -Rosario Islands, Isla Grande, Cholón, Agua Azul, Barú.
Explore La Ciudad Amurallada
Arroz de Coco (Coconut Rice)
Limonada de Coco (Coconut Lemonade)
Get some pastelitos on empanadas at ANY street corner
Visit the Local Bocagrande Market
Go to Bora Bora Beach Club
